The next movie in the series The War at Home.
The 1979 Academy Award-nominated documentary “The War at Home” was one of the first documentaries to approach the Vietnam War era from the viewpoint of history, though it was still fresh and raw in the American consciousness. The strategy by directors Glenn Silber and Barry Alexander Brown was to show the effect of the war on one city, Madison, Wis., effectively serving as a microcosm of the national anti-war protest movement.
